From December 19 to 22, 2025, at the Dahan Kou International Digital City in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, the 2025 Guoke Enterprises Roadshow on Manufacturing & Finance Going Global was held on a large scale. The event became an important forum connecting technology, manufacturing, and finance between China and international partners, including Vietnam.
The conference was not only an investment and technology trade promotion activity, but was also regarded as a substantive step in building cooperation and technology transfer bridges between China’s science and technology organizations, major enterprises, and Vietnamese partners in a new phase of development.
A forum gathering leading technology organizations and enterprises of Hubei Province
Organized in the context of China’s push for a new model of industrialization and its strategy to support science and technology enterprises in expanding internationally, the conference selected 10 outstanding technology projects from Hubei Province to present roadshows in key fields such as the digital economy, high-end intelligent manufacturing, and digitalized emergency response technologies.
The event was co-organized by the Science & Technology Achievement Transfer Committee and the China Sensor & IoT Industry Alliance, in collaboration with the Hubei Shuangchuang Innovation Workshop Investment Company, with the participation of numerous co-organizing and supporting units, including technology evaluation centers, industry associations, banks, and major industrial groups in China.

Notably, the conference brought together a prestigious panel of reviewers and advisors representing leading research institutions and industrial organizations. Typical participants included experts from the Institute of Process Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the China Sensor & IoT Industry Alliance, electronic engineering design institutes, industrial investment funds in the environmental and aerospace sectors, as well as representatives of industry associations and industrial promotion organizations of Hubei Province.
Expert discussions at the conference focused on technology commercialization, international order matching, and coordination models among policy, enterprises, finance, and markets, laying the groundwork for sustainable technology transfer.
The Vietnamese delegation - a bridging role in technology cooperation
Attending the conference, the SinoBridge Vietnam delegation comprised numerous managers, science and technology experts, and business leaders, clearly demonstrating Vietnam’s role within the regional technology cooperation network.
A highlight of the delegation was Dr. Trần Văn Tùng, President of the Vietnam Association for Information, Science and Technology and former Vice Minister of Science and Technology. His direct participation and engagement at the conference reflected the strong interest of Vietnam’s science and technology community in China’s models of technology transfer, intelligent manufacturing, and innovation.
Other members of the delegation included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đỗ Hương Lan, Director of the Institute of Innovation and Digital Transformation under the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam; Dr. Lê Thị Dung, Legal Director of the SinoBridge Vietnam Economic and Technical Cooperation Center; Nguyễn Trung Kiên, Director of the Institute for Technology Strategy and Innovation (STI); Nguyễn Huy Du, Chairman of the science and technology enterprise DUCA Holdings; along with leaders of enterprises and experts within the Vietnam-international cooperation network.
The delegation’s participation demonstrated that Vietnam is not merely a recipient market, but is gradually positioning itself as a partner in research, technology transfer, and technology deployment.
Launch of the “Going Global Guest Lounge” - a two-way technology transfer platform
A major highlight of the conference was the launch of the “Guoke Manufacturing & Finance Going Global Guest Lounge”, implemented simultaneously in Wuhan and Vietnam. This model is designed as a dual-anchor service platform - “domestic and overseas” - to support enterprises from technology showcasing and partner matching to real-world project implementation.

For Vietnam, the “Going Global Guest Lounge” is expected to become an effective bridge for technology transfer, enabling Vietnamese organizations and enterprises to directly access screened technologies, reduce partner selection risks, and shorten the timeline from initial technology exposure to practical deployment.
Toward long-term and sustainable cooperation
Within the program framework, the Vietnamese delegation participated in in-depth matchmaking sessions with representative enterprises of Hubei Province in sectors such as automotive manufacturing, specialized cold storage, high-tech agriculture, AI technology, and green hydrogen energy, while also conducting on-site visits to high-tech R&D models.
These activities illustrate a shift in China-Vietnam cooperation from isolated promotion efforts toward the development of an integrated cooperation ecosystem, where technology, capital, human resources, and knowledge are synchronously connected.
The 2025 Guoke Roadshow Conference in Wuhan reaffirmed the role of international technology forums in building cooperation and technology transfer bridges between China and Vietnam. With the participation of leading experts, science and technology organizations, and major enterprises from both countries, the event opened prospects for deep, substantive, and sustainable cooperation, contributing to the enhancement of Vietnam’s innovation capacity and its position in the regional technology value chain.
